At long last, JLO is thrilled to be featuring Mozart's comic masterpiece, The Marriage of Figaro, in Juneau! This production is the sequel to Rossini's Barber of Seville, which JLO presented in the spring of 2005. Mozart's timeless story of love, deceit, mistaken identity, betrayal and reconciliation is widely considered Mozart's most popular opera due to its extraordinary music, colorful characters, charming ensembles, and fast-moving pace.

Juneau Lyric Opera provides singing, theatrical and choral opportunities for the people of our community. We present high quality vocal performances of all types and workshops to foster the growth and education of our musical community. Juneau Lyric Opera is supported by the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, the citizens of the City and Borough of Juneau, and the generosity of our donors and volunteers.
