Juneau Lyric Opera provides singing, theatrical and choral opportunities for the people of our community. We present high quality vocal performances of all types and workshops to foster the growth and education of our musical community. Juneau Lyric Opera is supported by the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, the citizens of the City and Borough of Juneau, and the generosity of our donors and volunteers.

Handel Messiah

JLO's season-long Messiah project is rolling along. Join the chorus! Rehearsals begin Thursday, January 19, 7 PM, at Resurrection Lutheran Church and continue through April until the concerts on April 27-29.

Note: Soloist auditions will be held Saturday, January 28th, not January 21st as originally scheduled! Learn more.

Hairspray Auditions

In collaboration with Juneau Douglas High School, JLO is presenting Hairspray in November 2012! The second round of auditions will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012.
